Location
Houndsfield Road is a turning on the west side of Hertford Road approximately half a mile north of its junction with Bury Street. The North Circular Road (A406) is approximately 2 miles to the south. The Great Cambridge Road (A10) is about 1 mile to the west with the M25 (junction 25) just under 4 miles to the north.

Edmonton Green is approximately half a mile to the south where the shopping centre and surrounding area is subject to a major regeneration scheme to provide 176 apartments and many other facilities including a primary care centre. Olympic standard leisure centre and a 26 bay bus terminus. A 6,130 sq m (66,000 sq ft) Asda superstore is under construction and due to open in the summer 2008. Services are also available to Enfield Town, Stansted Airport (via Stansted Express from Harlow Town) and Cambridge. Local bus routes serve Hertford Road and there is a terminus at Edmonton Green.
